My name is Steffani Barger and I am a Home Mortgage Consultant, HMC, for Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. I have been in the lending business for over 12 years. I actually started with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage back in August 1999 and became one of their leading Construction to Permanent financing lenders in the nation. I was in the top 10 for number of closed construction loans. After having six successful years with Wells I decided to branch out on my own and open a mortgage company and become a broker. I did this in May 2005 and enjoyed the benefits of being a broker and on my own. I thrived in learning how to work with so many different types of lending institutions and what they had to offer. However, three years later the market took a turn that negatively impacted my business, I decided to close my doors and go under another broker in town, Sierra Pacific Mortgage.
Fast forward to today and I am back with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and very happy with my decision to return to a well known company. I am looking forward to many years in this industry with a reputable mortgage institution and am here to make your financing needs a reality. As for a quick side note on my personal life. I live in Minden and have been here since 1996. I am a bone cancer survivor, going on 14 years clear. My boyfriend, Matt, and I have been together going on four years and have four children, combined. Tyler, 13, Nate, 11, Dylan, 10 and Brooke is 8. Crazy days for sure but a ton of fun when we have the house full with everyone.
