Carson City Monthly Luncheon
Message From the President
Are you looking for an organization where you can meet others who are building relationships to further their professional lives? Are you looking for a place to learn more about what it means and what it takes to be successful in business? Are you looking for a group where women become friends? Welcome to WE of the World, Carson City. We are a warm and empowering group of women and men who support and encourage women as they grow both professionally and personally. Each month we get together to share our experiences and to be inspired by speakers who have faced challenges that we also face. Many business contacts have grown into strong friendships, well beyond the confines of the monthly meetings.
In addition to our monthly luncheons, we support women in the community by offering scholarships to women furthering their education. We also extend a helping hand to organizations such as Classy Seconds and A Friend to All, which are changing the world, one woman at a time.
We invite you to join this dynamic and energetic group, striving to build networks of support and empowerment. Whether you are looking for business contacts or camaraderie, Carson City WE of the World is the place to grow.
Here’s to your success!

The Capital City Circles Initiative is eliminating poverty in Carson City one family at a time by giving the heads of working families – Circle leaders – the skills and resources they need to thrive.
Families first complete a 20-week course designed to explore the barriers and assumptions that keep them in poverty. They then are matched with community allies who help families help themselves through friendship, support and sharing their skills and knowledge. Circle members work together to empower families on their path toward self-sufficiency, and to encourage community and policy changes that remove obstacles. It is expected that when a family successfully executes their plan for self-sufficiency, they will practice reciprocity by supporting a new family on their journey out of poverty, thus completing the circle. The Circles Initiative strives to build lasting relationships across socioeconomic and cultural lines, and to encourage all Carson City residents to realize their full potential.
How can you support Circles families? Donate passes to kid-friendly activities such as swimming, movies, museums, bowling, fun zone, etc. Monetary contributions, which are tax deductible, are very welcome as well so that activity passes, books and other child or family-oriented pursuits may be purchased.
